We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQLL Developer with a minimum of 4+ years of overall SQL development experience and at least 3+ years of hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in PostgreSQL-specific development, performance tuning, and database optimization.

Note: We are NOT looking for Oracle SQL profiles.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers in PostgreSQL.

 

Perform query optimization and database performance tuning for large-scale datasets.

 

Work closely with application developers to design efficient data models and database structures.

 

Contribute to ETL processes, data migration, and data integration tasks.

 

Implement indexing strategies, partitioning, and advanced PostgreSQL features.

 

Troubleshoot database issues, debug SQL scripts, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

 

Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in SQL development.

 

Create and maintain technical documentation related to database schemas and processes.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

 

4+ years of experience as an SQL Developer.

 

3+ years of strong, hands-on experience in PostgreSQL development (must).

 

Deep understanding of PostgreSQL-specific features such as window functions, CTEs, PL/pgSQL, indexing, partitioning, extensions, etc.

 

Strong experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and database analysis.

 

Solid understanding of relational database design principles and normalization.

 

Experience with data migration, ETL, and working with large datasets.

 

Proficient in debugging and solving complex SQL and performance issues.

 

Good communication and problem-solving skills.
